1 I love the Lord,
for he has heard the voice of my supplication; ♦︎
because he inclined his ear to me
on the day I called to him.
2 The snares of death encompassed me;
the pains of hell took hold of me; ♦︎
by grief and sorrow was I held.
3 Then I called upon the name of the Lord: ♦︎
O Lord, I beg you, deliver my soul.
4 Gracious is the Lord and righteous; ♦︎
our God is full of compassion.
5 The Lord watches over the simple; ♦︎
I was brought very low and he saved me.
6 Turn again to your rest, O my soul, ♦︎
for the Lord has been gracious to you.
7 For you have delivered my soul from death, ♦︎
my eyes from tears and my feet from falling.
8 I will walk before the Lord ♦︎
in the land of the living.
9 I believed that I should perish
for I was sorely troubled; ♦︎
and I said in my alarm,
Everyone is a liar.
10 How shall I repay the Lord ♦︎
for all the benefits he has given to me?
11 I will lift up the cup of salvation ♦︎
and call upon the name of the Lord.
12 I will fulfil my vows to the Lord ♦︎
in the presence of all his people.
13 Precious in the sight of the Lord ♦︎
is the death of his faithful servants.
14 O Lord, I am your servant, ♦︎
your servant, the child of your handmaid;
you have freed me from my bonds.
15 I will offer to you a sacrifice of thanksgiving ♦︎
and call upon the name of the Lord.
16 I will fulfil my vows to the Lord ♦︎
in the presence of all his people,
17 In the courts of the house of the Lord, ♦︎
in the midst of you, O Jerusalem.
Alleluia.

28Then bring near to you your brother Aaron, and his sons with him, from among the Israelites, to serve me as priestsAaron and Aarons sons, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. 2You shall make sacred vestments for the glorious adornment of your brother Aaron. 3And you shall speak to all who have ability, whom I have endowed with skill, that they make Aarons vestments to consecrate him for my priesthood. 4These are the vestments that they shall make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a chequered tunic, a turban, and a sash. When they make these sacred vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests, 5they shall use gold, blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine linen. 30In the breastpiece of judgement you shall put the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be on Aarons heart when he goes in before the Lord; thus Aaron shall bear the judgement of the Israelites on his heart before the Lord continually.
31 You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue. 32It shall have an opening for the head in the middle of it, with a woven binding round the opening, like the opening in a coat of mail,* so that it may not be torn. 33On its lower hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, all round the lower hem, with bells of gold between them all round 34a golden bell and a pomegranate alternating all round the lower hem of the robe. 35Aaron shall wear it when he ministers, and its sound shall be heard when he goes into the holy place before the Lord, and when he comes out, so that he may not die.
36 You shall make a rosette of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet, Holy to the Lord. 37You shall fasten it on the turban with a blue cord; it shall be on the front of the turban. 38It shall be on Aarons forehead, and Aaron shall take on himself any guilt incurred in the holy offering that the Israelites consecrate as their sacred donations; it shall always be on his forehead, in order that they may find favour before the Lord.

3So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth, 3for you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ who is your* life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory.
5 Put to death, therefore, whatever in you is earthly: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed (which is idolatry). 6On account of these the wrath of God is coming on those who are disobedient.* 7These are the ways you also once followed, when you were living that life.* 8But now you must get rid of all such thingsanger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive* language from your mouth. 9Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have stripped off the old self with its practices 10and have clothed yourselves with the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of its creator. 11In that renewal* there is no longer Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all!
12 As Gods chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. 13Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord* has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 15And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful. 16Let the word of Christ* dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.* 17And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
